A breezy day calls for a breezy t-shirt. I rarely wear t-shirts, but I love this one cause is made of linen. I have a few of these linen shirts in different colors from Alternative Apparel & I couldn't love them more. They are the perfect weight for that effortlessly cool fit I am always looking for in a tee.

all green everything

As always, I have a current obsession, and no, it's not with THAT mint green acne sweater. It's a much darker version of the hue. It's a range really from pea green to dark moss to hunter green. I want it in everything- shorts, belts, shoes, etc.

Green Dream in Givenchy

I believe it started with Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy's Spring 2012 Menswear collection. The largely white collection was filled with t-shirts, kilts, leggings, sweatshirts & baseball caps. But the collection really shined with its symmetrical, kaleidoscope-y birds of paradise print in moss green with streaks of hot pink, purple & blue.

As New York's weather gets more unpredictable, you have to relish the gorgeous days when you can. These Diesel cropped khaki's are the perfect answer to that could-be-pre-mature shorts weather.

I'm not sure why, I haven't had a crew neck pullover in a long time. But I recently acquired two and have been dying to pull them out. Perfect for chilly Spring mornings!

As I was walking to work yesterday morning, a lady in her thirties gave me the up-down look as we walked towards each other and just as we were passing muttered "cute." I'm taking it! Spring is here and I'm celebrating with pastels.

While my dear friend Emily was in town this weekend, we went to scour the Brooklyn Flea for some vintage finds. I had my eyes out for a collar bar after a Bollare intern, Megan, wore one a few weeks ago. I love that it is something that you just don't see being used in menswear anymore, much less menswear as womenswear (Meg- major swag points). Obviously, I went over board and got a few, along with this great industrial safety pin that feels like it was made for this tweed duster as a perfect closure. #fashiongoggled

I took advantage of a short weekend trip home for my Grandma's 80th birthday party to grab this sweater I haven't worn since high school. I always loved the colors in this sweater and now seems like the perfect time to revisit it's possibilities.
