Don't sleep on his album. Tracks like Nights, Nikes, Solo & Ivy take the lead as instant favorites.
Gucci makes his return post-jail with a banger album
Video 1: Rihanna takes us to a Caribbean dance hall
Video 2: A HOTLINE-BLING-esque follow up
When Rihanna drops two videos for the same song on one day, you know it's on. Riri teased fans with clips of what we were only to assume was THE video for Work. You know, cause normally there is only one. The first brings us to the islands of Rihanna's youth for a down and dirty style divey dance party, complete with a fishnet Jamacian dress and twerking for the gods. After that ends, the video reloads for what feels like HOTLINE-BLING all over again, but this time with Rihanna at front and center, nipples and all. Rihanna does what she wants. If ya dont't know, know ya know!
Yes, in fact, Beyoncé does slay, all day
Beyoncé's latest stunt, or new normal, resulted from a secret, social media announced, debut of her new single, Formation, accompanied by a stunning video, naturally. In the video, Beyoncé and her troop of females stunt in Givenchy, Gucci, & even Canadian tuxedos, while slanging lyrics of her deep South roots, her preferred 'types', and ultimately, black power. While the video may have had some backlash from non #blacktwitter, the video is just a succession of Beyoncé coming into her own and using her voice through song and visuals. If you haven't yet, Beyoncé is here to let you know you can bow down any time now.
In true Rihanna style, she has stole our hearts once again. Well played for the #phuckyourfeelings singer who's 8th studio album, R8, was due a year ago to release an easy, sentimental jam featuring America's sweetheart, Drake. But really, who can make you fall in love and wind your hips like that all at once?
You can listen to the full song for free at Tidal.
In the meantime, this will be me:
Erykah is back with the mixtape of the season. Can't turn it off (&& it's finally on spotify). If you haven't, don't walk, run.
Junglepussy is back and she's 'Pregnant with Success'
Back at it! NYC's very own Junglepussy captured our hearts with her debut, Satisfaction Guaranteed. Her lyrics and flows are sharp, cutting, hysterical, and sweet in their cadence all at the same time. For her sophomore album, she is offering a key to success featuring the album produced by Shy Guy, lyrics, and unreleased photos. Cop your copy here or check it out on Spotify here.

Mixtape fans rejoice- Drake & Future just teamed up on a new banger for fall.
One of the only things helping me 'keep it cool' as summer ends.
There are so many emotions experienced during twig's latest video from her newest EP, M3LL155X, that is hard to explain my first reaction. Between Michelle Lamy's stellar performance for Figure 8, the TLC-esque denim dancers from In Time, and the insane voguing skills in Glass & Patron, it is safe to say I'll be watching this one a few more times.
